Boy or Girl Countdown

Yep 32 days until we can finally say him or her officially.

I am getting super excited. I can't believe that next week I'll be 4 months. That means only five more to go. I'm sure it is going to go by fast.

Our ultrasound isn't just the usual one. We are actually getting a 3D ultrasound of the baby. I am going to get the pictures put onto CD so that I can e-mail them to everyone. Here is an example of a 3D ultrasound in case you aren't sure what they look like.

Memphis, TN

Raul and I leave for Memphis tomorrow. ROADTRIP!!! I'm very much looking forward to some barbecue from the International Barbecue Festival that they have every year in May...thus the term Memphis in May.

Well, I received a prescription from my OB yesterday to help with the morning (all day) sickness. I hadn't been able to eat anything in about three days and they said apples and carrotts weren't quite enough. I have to take it with every meal (not snacks) and again at bedtime. So far I love it. I actually got to get up and get ready like normal this morning and I even had breakfast. Now maybe people won't ask me if I've lost weight.

I'll post pictures of our trip here and e-mail them out to everyone while we are there and when we get back home.

Still Sick

The morning sickness comes and goes, but now it's just a matter of trying to eat. For some reason eating in the mornings isn't very good.

I only have a food aversion to meat for some reason. I did manage to eat some spaghetti and over this past weekend I had a chorizo and egg burrito, so hopefully that will start going away. I've talked to quite a few people and they've all said that they had the same thing and until they were 6mths along they couldn't eat any meat. It's strange and sure limits what I can eat. I try to get as much protien and such from beans, but really can only eat so many beans.

Last week I caught a cold. It wouldn't normally have been that bad except all I can take is Tylenol and Robitussin CF/DM. I miss NyQuil and DayQuil, but hopefully this is my only cold this year. I usually only catch one a year. Raul now has it.
