Morning Sickness

This is just wrong. I am almost done with the first trimester....just a week left and morning sickness decides to show up. Isn't it usually supposed to be over by now? It's even worse when you have it at work and another woman in the restroom asks if she can get you anythin and wonders if you are okay. I've learned just smiling and saying "No Thank You, I'll Be Okay" seems to work best.

Baby's Heartbeat

I got to hear the baby's heartbeat yesterday. It was in the 160's. At our next appointment I am going to ask that they let Raul come back. Just because there isn't an ultrasound doesn't mean that Daddy doesn't want to be there.

We will find out if it's a boy or girl at the end of June so about eight or nine weeks until then.

Nursery Theme

The nursery theme is going to be Beatrix Potter - Peter Rabbit. This will go both boy or girl. The room is going to be painted Pooh Bear Yellow. Once we get the room cleaned out, patched, and painted I will post a picture, not sure how well yellow will show up. If I can find a really cute wallpaper border I would put that around the top of the room, maybe with some molding.

Baby Record Book

Mom gave me a great idea to make a scrapbook for the baby. I haven't been able to find a really great ones that I liked. They are hard to find. I've always loved how detailed the one of Anastasia's is.
